A historic space reborn on the Smith family farm — where horse stalls once stood, a restaurant now thrives. Since 2013, Die Stalle has been the place where memories are made, love and loss are celebrated, and every plate carries Anmareth’s touch of passion and warmth.
Established in 2022 by Bertu Smith, The Saloon offers a Western-style escape on the same land where Cabriere’s stories began. Step inside for a drink, join the locals, and discover a place where heritage meets adventure.
Many years ago, Tienie Smith owned a farm called Cabriere. When it was time to let the land go, one piece stayed behind. When Tienie farmed this land, it was vineyards as far as the eye could see, but the land had stories already written - tucked away in the attic, they found old Cabriere milk bottles from a time before them. Die Stalle - Once the horse stalls of the farm - remained. And it became something more - still on the very same land & still in the same family - the Smiths from Stalle.
Die Stalle restaurant was established in 2013 and renovated in 2019. This restaurant is now known where people make new memories, friends celebrate love and loss and where we share our passion for food and company with every new and regular guest. You will find Anmareth, Tienie’s wife, in the kitchen - cooking up a storm and making sure every plate goes out with love! The Saloon was established in 2022 by Bertu, Tienie’s son. We recommend you visit The Saloon for a Western adventure and a drink and see what all the locals are up to! Our aim is to serve you the best, hoping you leave here with a full heart and a need to come back!
